Cheap .au domain names for Aussies
I've had a few people ask me where they can buy .com.au domains for a good price. It seems many Aussies are still paying more than $100 for their domains when they don't need to.
Now unfortunately for most of our readers, only Australians can register .au names. Unlike most other domain name types (.com etc) the .au domain names are regulated by auDA.
You'll need to be operating a business in Australia which means you'll need to have a registered Australian Business Number.
The good news for Aussies however is that you can now get .au domains for just $25 at hostess.com.au, however if you want full domain management features such as redirection and email forwarding etc you will have to pay an extra $15 per year.
Still not bad pricing compared to Melbourne IT. If you've found a better deal out there for .au domains leave a comment below.

Thanks for the heads up.
